Forrest Frank is a Christian musician and producer from Houston, Texas. Born on April 8, 1995, in Fulshear, he is now 30 years old and lives in Waco, Texas, with his wife, Grace, and their child, Bodie.
Before pursuing a solo career, Frank worked with his friend Colin Padalecki in the band Surfaces, founded in 2017. In 2023, he released his first solo album, California Cowboy, officially launching his journey as an independent Christian artist.
Many fans are surprised to learn that his first semi-solo album, Warm (2017), went largely unnoticed at the time. Today, however, he has risen to prominence, particularly with the success of Child of God and its follow-up, Child of God 2. He announced the Child of God 2 tour during a concert in Anaheim, California, on April 15.

Background & Influences
Frank comes from a family with deep roots in Christian ministry. His mother was a worship leader, his grandmother wrote worship music, and his grandfather, Neil Frank, was a preacher. After graduating from Baylor University in 2017 with a business degree, he briefly worked an office job before committing full-time to music.
His musical style blends lo-fi, hip hop, soul, R&B, reggae, and inspirational Christian themes. He attends Antioch Church in Waco, Texas.
Career Highlights
Frank’s music has become a staple on social media, especially Instagram and TikTok, where his upbeat, faith-centered songs have gone viral. He has over 4.1 million followers across platforms and has collaborated with leading Christian artists, including Elevation, Maverick City Music, Lecrae, and Hulvey.
In March 2024, his song Always briefly became the No. 1 trending song on Instagram. His EP God Is Good—featuring Caleb Gordon—has already surpassed 2.1 million Spotify streams, with reels featuring the song reaching over 1.2 million views.
Frank first discovered his passion for music in high school after experimenting with a Maschine Mikro, a compact digital workstation. At Baylor, he spent long hours honing his skills in production and composition.
Although he drifted from his faith during college, Frank credits a worship night at a church as the turning point that reignited his relationship with God.
“I remember just falling on my knees and crying out to Jesus,” he told Elevation YTH.
That moment reshaped his life and career, leading him to embrace music not just as a craft, but as a ministry.
