About Us
The PathFinders News is an educational laboratory designed to allow student journalists a live space to publish their stories. Taught by Greg Wyatt, this class endeavors to teach students the basics of journalistic writing, photojournalism, and layout design both for the school’s newsletter and for the yearbook, The Compass.
The Journalism & Yearbook class operated under the umbrella of the PathFinders Educational Collaborative, an organization designed to offer homeschooled students the opportunity to learn specialized subjects in a classroom environment.
Every year the students of the new journalism class are given the opportunity to name the school’s newsletter. In 20242-2025 the nesletter was called the Pathfinder Times.
